6.4 is one of most significant dates of XX century - Midway, first free election in Poland, start of lustration in Poland, but most of all this is the date of massacre of students on Tiananmen square in 1989. I woke up this morning and I was sure I will listen, see, read all about Tiananmen again and again, like every year till now.
And - zero. Nothing. Polish medias didn't say a word about China today, first time since 1989.
Even Polish Wikipedia didn't consider it worth to mention it in the list of historical events...
I know that China had changed, and radically changed lately Polish-Chinese relations, thanx gods, but still...
Disappointing amnesia, even if based on political calculation, can't understand why leading Polish media didn't remind this protest and its final.

I wasn't on Tiananmen in 1989, I was one year after, but the atmosphere on the square, thrilling troops crossing the square, firing squads training shooting in public, that will stay always in my memory, even if politicians and medias decide to forget officially.
